Mekka Don is a hip-hop artist who MTV says has led the pack in revolutionizing the way Independent artists fund their music production and generate revenue. In 2014, Mekka Don successfully crowdfunded his debut album while raising over 150% of his goal. Since then, he has had major collaborations with The Ohio State University, Cleveland Browns, the Big Ten Network and more.  He has been prominently featured in several media from MTV to ESPN to HBO Hard Knocks to XXL Magazine.  The New York Daily News said Mekka Don is, “bringing change to rap” and he was also recognized as an “mtvU Freshman” by mtvU.  He has had numerous successful releases including “Nip and Tuck which topped over 1 million challenge views, has appeared multiple times on Sway in the Morning on Shade45, and has been shouted out my legends in music from Chuck D to J. Prince to Bizzy Bone to SWV.
